Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I was always surrounded by beauty. The bay, the mountains, and the ocean, were my playground. But, it wasn’t until I started traveling that I wanted to capture this beauty, to have a memory to keep, a memory outside of my heart
A point and shoot gave me the post card shots for my scrap books, but I began to want more. So, in 2013 I bought a DSLR. Not knowing anything about shutter speed, ISO, or f stops, I had to take several classes to begin to understand this little machine.
Thanks to the unlimited patience of my teacher, Tony Rizzuto, I began to understand the camera. A whole new world opened up. I now set out to capture the magnificence of this world: the sunrises, the sunsets, the clouds, the soaring mountains, the waves breaking, the redwoods soaring.
Photography has become my “golden years” passion. No rocking chair for me!!!
